Om kursen

This course is for you who is an experienced improviser and are curious of widen your perspective on improv theatre. We move around in a landcape of expanded choreography and theatre improvisation and together we will create a film.

During wo days we will explore collective processes, how we can mix, blend and process improvised theatre with choreographic tools.

Day 1 – Creating
Through play we explore movement, choreographic elements and improv theatre in the scenical room. We investigate how movement, room and time can create narratives or abstract scenes and stories.

Day 2 – Filming
During the second day we will film material – both with the whole group and in duos and trios, that Stina, together with Robert Bengtsson, will cut and edit.

Stina O´Connell has many years of experience in improv theatre, both on stage as an improviser and as improv teacher leading classes. Stina is a trained dance teacher and is now continuing her education in organizational pedagogy, she finds it very interesting working with how body, movement and an expanded choreography concept can contribute to improv theatre, both scenical and in pedagogical learning processes. Collectively and organic are keywords in her teaching.

Robert Bengtsson is the founder of Black Dog Production, and he has been working with pics, scripts, directing and camera since 2010. He has a solid background in acting and stage production and therefor he has a unique knowledge of what it takes to do a neat presentation in front if the camera, visual storytelling, and pitch technique.
As a film actor Robert has appeared in Beck 59 min, Yarden and Tunna Blå Linjen, amongst others. On stage he has been working in productions like The Lion King, RENT and Henrik.
