Time to cut the moorings!
This is our daredevil celebration of throwing yourself out into the unknown!
Our reminder that perfection is not the goal and that out of the chaotic presence, wonderful art can be created.

Now for 28 years in a row
Once again we deliver hit songs created in the catch of the moment. We dare to promise that you will continue humming them while roaming warm autumn night in Stockholm.

The setup is simple.
When you come to Stockholm’s Improvisation Theater on Sigtunagatan, you are invited to write made-up song titles that we collect before the show starts.
On stage there are two boxes, one with song titles and one with music genres.
A note is pulled from each one of them, and there is our title and genre of the song!.
Now it’s time for the artist and musicians to come up with a brand new hit.
Since the audience decides the winner, the right song always wins!

This year’s theme
This year, our festival is a celebration of going on a cruise, so check in, forget about the hustle and bustle of everyday life and let yourself be seduced by the mystery of the sea, duty-free sweets, thirst for love and cute sailors.
Come and sing along to the chorus of the song you’ve never heard before and come and party with us to forget the world outside for a while.
